Unveiling of Mini-Library at Alexander Community Centre

A take-a-book, leave-a-book mini-library was unveiled today in front of the Alexander Community Centre (960 Silver Street).

There was a special appearance by Ottawa’s children’s author, Kathy Clark, as well as a dance performance and bake sale by the “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” youth group (who also painted the library -– see below!).

Mayor Jim Watson and Councillor Riley Brockington cut the ribbon.
