Carling Avenue Transit Lane

Phase 1, from Bayswater Avenue to Bronson Avenue, was deferred due to Phase 2 of the LRT Expansion. Now, the construction of transit lanes between Bayswater and Bronson (converting the current right lane) also has to be coordinated with MTO structure replacement along Hhighway 417 and the reconstruction of Bronson Avenue.  It is anticipated that reconstruction of Carling, complete with transit priority measures and improved active transportation facilities should be started by 2027-2028.
